have no more room for other chars
hello
this is sad. but i made 2 chars for role play game which are allready done. and 2 other spots i need to be able to test pvp stuff. and the 2 chars which are done i just cant delete them because i ve invested verry much work in it. i think 4 spots for the chars are just too less. it would be cool if arena net would give us more room for the characters. |

I'm glad about it in some ways, because it stops me from creating dozens of alts which is what I tend to do in other games...
It'd be nice to have six slots though so you could have one of each primary prof. It's not so much of a bother for me since I'm not really into pvp, so I haven't created any pvp chars. |

Strength in this game is measured by flexability, and flexability is keyed to your account rather than to your characters. Even if you delete your 20, the skills/items he unlocked will still be availble for your PvP characters. I could be wrong here, but couldn't you delete your 20, then instantly create him back as a PvP character? Starting a new character would just unlock more and more skills/items and provide you with greater flexability. Think of your characters in more of a Diablo II frame of mind than a DAoC one.
That being said, you can get four more spots simply by buying another account. The problem here is they won't be linked. What you activate on one account won't be available on the other. I personally would go for the re-roll option. I really think they made the choice to have only 4 slots after considering the dynamics of account based availability of skills, and not simply storage concerns. |
